The aim of the Diploma in Logistics and Supply Management is to equip students with sound knowledge and skills on industry practices of contemporary logistics and supply chain management at the supervisory management level in a business organisation. This specialised programme covers key topics in two knowledge modules and a Research Project module. The two knowledge modules are Logistics Management and Warehouse Management. The Research Project will guide students to undertake a project on best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
Course Duration & Frequency
This is a SkillsFuture Approved course, and is conducted in the evening, part time and over a full 6 months duration. The course is scheduled to commence in the months of March, June, September and December, but this may subject to changes. Please check with SIPMM Institute on the actual date of commencement.
The lecture timings of the part-time classes are shown below:
- Time : Weekdays evening 7pm to 10pm
- Frequency : 1 to 2 times per week
- Venue : Trade Association Hub
An applicant must be at least 25 years old, have at least 3 years of relevant work experience, and have a qualification not lower than a Diploma recognised by SIPMM. Those who do not meet the criteria but have the SIPMM Executive Certificate are eligible for admission.
Academic Award & Recognition
Students must pass all module assessments to complete the course successfully, and be awarded certificate in Diploma in Logistics and Supply Management (DLSM). DLSM graduates will be conferred a professional credential as a World Accredited Practitioner (WAP) in Logistics and Supply Management, and this credential is awarded by World Certification Institute (WCI).
Fees Structure & Payment
Total Fee for enrolment is S$3,590 (w.e.f. 1st January 2019).
